CAD, CAM, and 3D Printing
Applications of 3D modelling to machining and prototyping.
Milestones CAD and 3D Printing Certificate
This seminar style, six-week program is offered through the Office of Professional Practice and Purdue ASME. The course taught fundamental CAD and 3D printing skills using Fusion 360 and Ultimaker Cura where I learned about the forms of additive manufacturing. Throughout the course, I developed skills in design and part preparation for 3D printing, working to refine them through the design challenges each week.

Hands-On Design and Fabrication
As a member of the Hands-On Design and Fabrication Learning Community at Purdue, I participated in a course which taught the in depth tools of Fusion 360, including 3D modeling and CAM. Topics included parametric design, designing for effective machining, designing with tolerance in mind, and manufacturing on lathes, 2 axis mills, and 4 axis mills. Some of the design challenges for this class are shown to the right.
